The place were all the glamour, fun and entertainment was happening it was at the 33rd annual Miss Asia USA cultural beauty pageants. Miss Asia USA is one of the most acclaimed, awaited and anticipated international beauty pageant event in Los Angeles county.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Virgelia Villegas, producer of Virgelia Productions, Inc., held their 33rd Annual Miss Asia USA Cultural pageants. Virgelia Productions crowned contestants for the titles of Miss Asia USA, Mrs. Asia USA, Miss Teen Asia USA, Mrs. India USA, Mrs. Asia USA International, Miss Global Ambassador, Miss Latina Global, Mrs Latina Global, Miss Teen Latina Global, Miss Europe Global and Mrs. Europe Global.

Miss Asia USA day of event is comprised of competitions in the categories of National costumes, swimsuit competition, evening gown competition and for the final five for each evening, the interview round. And at the end the runner ups and queens are named. They also feature special singers and dancers on the show. After the coronation show they held a VIP party. Virgelia Productions sponsors and always feature big long and multiple red carpet for her guests.

She was the 2017 Miss Asia USA and has since then has represented Korea on the international level in the Philippines, where she made the top 20 and received the special award of Miss Enterprise. She has modeled in the L.A.
and London fashion weeks as well as the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals. After graduating from the University of California Irvine with Bachelor’s in Film and Media Studies, Rachel began working for a digital marketing company in Los Angeles. Her dream is to one day write, produce, and direct films.

“Tombstone Pillow” Short Movie It Is Must Watch Because It Is A True Story

This past weekend, I saw the short movie “Tombstone Pillow”. Although it is short. you will definitely become inspired and learn something memorable!

Actress Producer Lourdes Duque Baron and Actress Kendra Sison De Mesa - Tombstone Pillow MovieThis movie is mainly about people in the Philippines living in a cemetery, and a wealthy widow. The starring roles are played by executive producer, singer, author and actress Lourdes Duque Baron as Olivia and actress Kendra Sison De Mesa as Maria Del Carmen.

Tombstone Pillow Actress Lourdes Duque BaronOlivia goes to the cemetery to visit her husband’s tomb and an angry mob meets her. She then meets Maria Del Carmen and asks her what she is doing at her husband’s tomb. Olivia and Maria Del Carmen have no time to talk because the angry mob is heading towards her. So, Maria Del Carmen helps Olivia to flee the angry mob.

After a couple of days pass, Olivia remembers Maria Del Carmen teaching her what has real value in life. So, one night she goes looking for her at the cemetery, but the people confront her again. Olivia tells them about her past and they leave her alone. However, she finds out that Maria Del Carmen has been dead for many years.

“Tombstone Pillow” features people living in the Philippines Manila North Cemetery. We should never take for granted what we have here in the US, because we are fortunate to live in a country where our “We the People” vote counts. Also, the US government cares about us.

Directors Daniel Lir and Bayou Bennett do a great job by bringing an inspiring drama to the big screen. They also introduce us to actresses Lourdes Duque Baron and Kendra Sison De Mesa. “Tombstone Pillow” serves as a great learning lesson as well as entertainment. It is a colorful film with a very little cast and few plot twists. However, the timeline is a bit unclear at times. For a number of scenes, I felt things were rushed and it was hard to tell whether it had been hours, days or months that had passed since the last time a given character had been on screen. I think the directors should have used titles before new scenes to identify hours and days.

Tombstone Pillow Movie - Actress Kendra Sison De MesaThe one actress that gave this reviewer pause was Kendra Sison De Mesa. She seemed to have fun acting along actress Lourdes Duque Baron. It was laughable when she gave the sandals to Olivia to run in the cemetery and Kendra threw her Christian Louboutin shoes in the trash. I also enjoyed how she took Olivia’s Gucci sunglasses to wear them

You need to watch this movie to understand what happens with Olivia and why Maria Del Carmen dies so fast. “Tombstone Pillow” is worthy to watch because what they show is a true story. On January 18, 2021, Stonedef Records, Inc., announces that The JPF Music Awards (Just Plain Folks) were announced on December 28, 2020 and that Billboard hit singer/songwriter Fawn® won Best Dance Album, Best Dance Song and placed in the runner-up and finalist positions in three other song and album categories.

Due to COVID – 19, the JPF Music Awards were announced on December 28, 2020 online on the JPF Music YouTube channel at 8pm EST. Winners, runner-ups and the top four album finalists and top six song finalists in each category were disclosed within a two hour and eighteen minute program by JPF Music Organization founder Brian Austin Whitney.

There were 4,203 judges from around the world listening to 71,700 album entries and over 230,000 song entries, with a multi-genre mix of music categories, 63 song categories and 75 album categories.  Fawn® won Best Dance Album, “Idiosyncratic” and Best Dance Single, “Small” and won runner-up for Best Holiday Song, “Christmas Time”, the finalist positions for Best Alternative Song, “Over” and Best Holiday Album, “Angels We Have Heard On High.”

Fawn® said: “As a songwriter and independent artist, having this type of recognition is such a blessing. When I learned about the odds of winning or placing in the top five categories, I was blown away. These honors I’ve been given, are from real world listeners and that means a lot to me. I am indebted to Marty Panzer and Pat Pattison for their lyrical mentorship and John Bettis for his encouraging support over the years. I am so grateful an organization Like JPF Music exists. It is very painful for me to share the breaking news that Boys Town Gang Lead Singer, our dearest business, friend and Disco Dance Celebrity Diva Cynthia Manley has died. Cynthia Manley was born on Edmond, Oklahoma, January 27, 1955 and die on September 10, 2020 at 3:00 am.

ENSE Music Releases “Dark Day” by Marlon Saunders

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020 Singer-songwriter and record producer Marlon Saunders has released a new song “Dark Day” on ENSE Music.

“Dark Day” is a virtual collaboration with music producer, classical/jazz pianist and all-around synth nerd, John Manni.

John said, “I feel like we actually did something to be proud of, we created something that will make a dent in the world for the better, something to help continued change and give hope at the same time. Marlon is a Berklee College Of Music Alumni and veteran in the music industry. He has worked with various artists such as Michael Jackson, Cynthia Erivo, Lauryn Hill, Javier Colon, Billy Joel, Sting, Bobby McFerrin, Joe Henderson, Ron Carter, Shawn Colvin, Nine Inch Nails, Jane Siberry, Shania Twain, Martha Wash, and Dance Theatre of Harlem and has toured and gathered singers and directed choirs for artists such as Stevie Wonder, Sam Smith, Logic, Mondo Cozmo and Andrea Bocelli.

Marlon has contributed to the video game scene as well, particularly games made by Sega. He is best known for doing vocals on both versions of Knuckles’ theme, “Unknown From M.E.” in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. Marlon also performs on the soundtrack to the Burning Rangers game, singing one of the ending songs, “We are Burning Rangers” and has performed a Christmas a cappella version of “Dreams Dreams”, the theme from Night Into Dreams with a small vocal ensemble that can be heard during the ending credits of Christmas Nights as well as on its soundtrack.

Marlon also made a brief appearance in the film Enchanted as a calypso singer who sings “That’s How You Know” with Amy Adams and made a cameo appearance in Billboard Hit singer-songwriter Fawn’s song “Wait For The Sun Black Lives Matter”.

support of Black Lives Matter.

“After seeing the horrific video footage of Ahmaud Arbery being murdered in cold blood, I couldn’t sleep. It haunted me. Then I heard about Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Elijah

Fawn immediately started to reach out to her, friends, acquaintances and colleagues, asking them to join with their voices.

The Hollywood Christmas Parade is an annual parade that takes place on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in the Hollywood community in Los Angeles, California, United States. 

The parade follows a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) route along Hollywood Boulevard, then back along Sunset Boulevard and features various celebrities among its participants.

Singer and Songwriter Chaka Khan Named 2019 Grand Marshal of the 130th Rose Parade Presented by Honda

PASADENA, Calif. (October 17, 2018) – Singer, songwriter, and philanthropist Chaka Khan was announced today as the 2019 Grand Marshal by Tournament of Roses® President Gerald Freeny. Chaka will ride in the 130th Rose Parade® presented by Honda, themed “The Melody of Life” and join in the pre-game celebration of the 105th Rose Bowl Game® presented by Northwestern Mutual both are held on January 1, 2019. As an added bonus for millions of viewers around the world, Chaka is scheduled to perform in the parade’s Opening Spectacular.

Chaka is one of the most celebrated musicians with a rich musical legacy. As a singer, songwriter, actor, author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Chaka has influenced generations of entertainers. She has the rare ability to sing in seven music genres, including R&B, pop, rock, gospel, country, world music and classical.  Affectionately known around the world as Chaka, she is respected by millions of fans as well as her peers for her timeless, classic and unmatched signature music style and ability. Throughout her legendary career, Chaka has released 22 albums and ten #1 Billboard magazine charted songs. However, the song that propelled her to stardom was the 1984 chart-topping, GRAMMY® award-winning song, “I Feel For You,” written and first performed by Prince.

Despite her busy schedule, Chaka has always made time to support and uplift her community. In 1999 she established the Chaka Khan Foundation which educates, inspires and empowers children to achieve their full potential. Through the Chaka Believes Program, the foundation gives children in Los Angeles who are at risk, either through poverty or through health issues like autism, the ability to achieve their dreams and give back to the community.
