Jarvee Hutcherson Honored With Lanfa Award Multiculture Awards by LA Nollywood Film Association

On Saturday, August 15, 2015, the Los Angeles Nollywood Film Association honored Jarvee Hutcherson, President of MMPA and ASYM with the Multiculture Awards at the 3rd annual LA Nollywood Film Awards held at Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles International Airport 9750 Airport Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045 from 3pm to 12 pm. The 3rd Annual LANFA Awards were produced by King Bassey.

Jarvee Hutcherson, is the President of the Multicultural Motion Picture Association (MMPA), oversees a roster of 1,500 members nationwide. Recognized as the Spokesperson and Representative of Diversity issues and inclusiveness within the Television Networks, Motion Picture Studios and production companies. Mr. Hutcherson also serves as National President of the American Society of Young Musicians (ASYM), Committed to the Enrichment and Advancement of Young Musicians Across the Globe! It also funds a mentorship program, Scholarship Endowment for young Musicians between the ages of 13 to 30 years old, and Drug rehabilitation program.

Allison Iraheta of American Idol Season 8 attended The 17th Annual MMPA Oscar Week Student Filmmakers Luncheon

On Friday, March 5, 2010 The 17th Annual Multicultural Motion Picture Association Oscar Week Shttps://web.archive.org/web/20100810080500/tudent Filmmakers Luncheon was held at The Montage Beverly Hills Hotel from 10 am to 2pm.

The MMPA presented students with financial awards for their film projects. The event was hosted by Chris Schauble, KNBC-4 Los Angeles News Anchor.

The students were expected to meet this year 82nd Academy Award Nominees: Lee Daniels, and the cast of “Precious” Gabourey Sidibe, Monique, Paula Patton, Mariah Carey, Anika Noni Rose (The Frog Princess), Aaron Quinn, (The Blind Side) Tom Ford and David Scaerce (A Single Man) Kimberley Myers and Shelly Jo Reesman. The expected celebrities guests were Colin Firth, Morgan FreemanSandra Bullock , Carrey Mulligan, Anna Kendrick, Tami Farrell, Jeremy Renner, Henry Selick, Jon Musker, Ron Clements, Judith Ehrlich, Rick Goldsmith, Robert Kenner, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, Elise Pearlstein, Stephen Bognar, Gregori J Martin , Tivi Magnusson, Joel & Ethan Coen and more.

Some of the celebrities the attended were Singer Allison Iraheta, Model Sophie Turner, Actress Lily Collins, Actor Quinton Aaron, Ray McKinnon, Model Derek Pratt, Nurse Cherilyn Lee, Actor Lorenzo Lamas and fiance Shawna Craig.
