Billboard Hit Singer-Songwriter Fawn Wins Multiple Honors at the 2020 JPF Music Awards
Due to COVID – 19, the JPF Music Awards were announced on December 28, 2020 online on the JPF Music YouTube channel at 8pm EST. Winners, runner-ups and the top four album finalists and top six song finalists in each category were disclosed within a two hour and eighteen minute program by JPF Music Organization founder Brian Austin Whitney.
There were 4,203 judges from around the world listening to 71,700 album entries and over 230,000 song entries, with a multi-genre mix of music categories, 63 song categories and 75 album categories. Fawn® won Best Dance Album, “Idiosyncratic” and Best Dance Single, “Small” and won runner-up for Best Holiday Song, “Christmas Time”, the finalist positions for Best Alternative Song, “Over” and Best Holiday Album, “Angels We Have Heard On High.”
Fawn® said: “As a songwriter and independent artist, having this type of recognition is such a blessing. When I learned about the odds of winning or placing in the top five categories, I was blown away. These honors I’ve been given, are from real world listeners and that means a lot to me. I am indebted to Marty Panzer and Pat Pattison for their lyrical mentorship and John Bettis for his encouraging support over the years. I am so grateful an organization Like JPF Music exists. They are a light at the end of a very long, dark tunnel.”
Billboard Hit Singer-Songwriter Fawn Wins Multiple Honors at the 2020 JPF Music Awards
At the online JPF Music Awards, Whitney said: “If you’re a nominee and you don’t show up in the finals tonight, don’t feel bad. It was harder to get a nomination in our awards by the sheer number of entries than it is to get a nomination in the Grammys, so it’s a big achievement.”
If you happen to be in the top six or the top four, I hope that you’ll celebrate! For the first time ever, we have an Honorable Mention category for songs or albums that just missed getting into the top finishers by a single vote or less. 2020 has been rough on everybody and I think this was a great way to have a really positive and upbeat ending to the year. We want to bring as much positive attention as we can to these talents.”

On July 9, 2020, Stonedef Records, Inc., announced that Billboard hit songwriter and recording artist Fawn’s “Wait For The Sun” featuring Debra Wilson. Also joining forces are Joanna Cassidy, Judy Tenuta, Kate Linder, Shanice Wilson and many others in
support of Black Lives Matter.
“After seeing the horrific video footage of Ahmaud Arbery being murdered in cold blood, I couldn’t sleep. It haunted me. Then I heard about Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Elijah
McClain and countless others.” said Billboard Hit Recording Artist Fawn.
Fawn immediately started to reach out to her, friends, acquaintances and colleagues, asking them to join with their voices.

“I couldn’t take it any longer, and I can no longer be silent, so I’m adding my voice against the atrocities, injustices and heinous actions people of color go through daily.” concluded Fawn.
“Wait for The Sun” is a song Fawn wrote about struggling and fighting your way through difficult, dark times. The message of the chorus, “Wait for The Sun” is a reminder to hold on because the sun is going to come out again.” A key unifying line is, “let the love remind you we’re one, and wait for the sun.”
The music video has a handful of soulful celebrities and people uniting for a spiritual journey into cosmic positivity and change. When Fawn saw Debra Wilson’s silent monologue performed to the song, there was one particular moment she felt captured the anguish, pain and frustration of the African American community.
June 20, 2020, Hollywood, CA — Hollywood’s Award Winning and Hit Recording Artist Fawn releases 2 new videos. She also released a new song title “Wait For The Sun”. This song is about the uncertain times that we are living and we have been affecting us with the pandemic CoronaVirus 19.
It is very cool to see father and son John and Leo Palisano been featured on this excellent production by award winning and hit recording artist Fawn.
“Wait For The Sun. This song reflects these frustrating times dealing with the challenges in our world.” said Hit Recording Music Artist Fawn.
Wait For The Sun was credits are for Words, music and performance by Fawn®. Music video edited by Fawn and shot by John Palisano.
Also due to the recent murder of African Americans by Police Department in the USA. She release a video of her hit song “Perfect”
“Perfect. Is a song about striving to become the best you, you can be.” Concluded Fawn.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Stonedef Records announced that they are releasing a new album this Friday, November 20, 2015 from the Billboard hit recording artist Fawn.
The album entitled, “Remnants” is an 11 song CD of original piano-based compositions written by the award-winning singer/songwriter and composer. Fifty percent of the proceeds through December 31, 2015 will benefit The Pepper Foundation, a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of senior and special needs dogs.
Fawn (aka ‘Songirl’) is recognized for her television, film, commercials, pop and dance songs, so this is a departure from her past musical endeavors. According to Fawn, “Even though I’m known more for my pop songs and dance hit, I’ve always written piano pieces, as well as many other styles of music, and I decided to compile some of my piano compositions into an album.” Another immense change is her easily recognized lady Godiva blond braids. This album cover shows Fawn for the first time, braid-less, with what she proclaims to be her “normal hair when it’s not tied up”.
With half of all sales from this album going to dogs, it’s no wonder the front of the album cover depicts Fawn with her beloved rescue dog (an American Eskimo appropriately named ‘Composer’), who lived to the age of 23. Fawn recalls, “He was the one true love of my life, who knew me better than I knew myself.” Fawn continued, “These are the songs that reveal my inner makings—the turmoil, the heart ache—they are the compositions I wrote when my feelings were so strong, that all I could do was sit at the piano and allow the emotions to flow through my fingers onto the piano. Those deep, heart-wrenching moments were so profound and personal that no words were able to come out.” Fawn concluded, “The music from this album poured out of my soul, like a river overflowing and these musical pieces are the result of my emotions and tears.”
President and founder of The Pepper Foundation, Julie Chadwick said, “It is a great honor that the amazing songwriter Fawn is sharing her music with the world and with us this holiday season by donating 50% of all proceeds to the Pepper Foundation.” She explained, “The Pepper Foundation is dedicated to rescuing special needs senior dogs from high kill shelters and we are very lucky and blessed that an incredible artist like Fawn is so generously supporting our mission.” Julie concluded, “With each purchase of Fawn’s album, you will be helping save another precious life and help them get the medical care and love each of them so desperately needs.”
Fawn explained, “I think Julie is very passionate about these little innocent seniors and special needs animals. She is compassionate, caring and gets them top notch care, meets their medical needs, finds them wonderful homes or fosters so they can be loved up until the end, like they deserve. She truly cares about seniors that families dump at the shelter, and the specialized dogs that get left behind. She will leave no stone unturned when it comes to their happiness, health and over all well-being. She’s just fantastic.”

You can also purchase Fawn’s 2 Holiday albums: “Angels We Have Heard On High” and “Ode To Amour” which will also benefit the Pepper Foundation.
