Amazon Flex Temple City – Rosemead Drivers Boycott Station

On Saturday, February 9, 2019 lots of Amazon Flex Rosemead evening shots did not show up for their 4, 5, 6 and 7 pm blocks because they have been sent far and over the San Gabriel Valley area where they sign up to deliver packages.

Amazon Flex Temple City – Rosemead has been abusing them by sending them drive all over the Lia Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County and more without adding extra compensation. Yes Amazon Flex has been paying $18 and hour but the drivers has to deal with tear and wear on their cars, gas, miles, dark nights, cold, raining and hot days with no perks or benefits.

Per Wikipedia it list the San Gabriel Valley as following:

The San Gabriel Valley is in Los Angeles County. The incorporated cities and unincorporated neighborhoods of the San Gabriel Valley include:

Amazon Flex drivers are not getting pay extra during the evening, weekends or holidays which a billion company like Amazon should pay to their employees or partners in this case Amazon Flex individual partners. Companies are supposed to pay extra for weekends, evening and holidays. Do you know some companies even pay more to those employees that work during those times them their 7 to 4, 8 to 5, 9 to 6 employees.

Amazon Flex do not like for Amazon Flex to give packages when they know those are opposite direction from their main route and If you return them at the end of the block they question you by been mad.

On top of that If you decide to finish your block even though you went over they don’t even want to pay you extra. If they pay you they pay you regular hourly rate but in some cases you took a surge so they need to pay at those rates.

Yes Amazon Flex has been treating better the Amazon Flex business partners because they have a van and a business but the fact is that they are doing the same work except they can take more packages but they have a week to deliver them. Amazon has been offering on it is logistics website the following perks:

Access to exclusive deals
Leveraging Amazon’s deals makes the entire setup process easy. We’ve negotiated exclusive deals on startup assets and ongoing business management services with top-in- class third-party providers to help you get your business started for as little as $10,000.
• Amazon-branded vehicles customized for delivery
• Vehicle maintenance
• Vehicle insurance
• Fuel program
• Professional uniforms
• Industrial-grade handheld devices
• Recruitment tool discounts
• Payroll, tax, and accounting services
• Health benefits and employee services • Legal support

Amazon Flex business drivers they make $300K a year, get a branded Amazon van, uniforms, gas allowance, cellphone, extra pay and they can choose their routes while the Amazon Flex individual partners are force to drive more than 25 to 45 miles away with no extra compensation or perks.

So if you a consumer and don’t get your packages on tine call Amazon and ask for reimbursement on delivery fee also be mindful that Amazon is discriminating the hard working individual people. Amazon Flex was suppose to be a fun and relaxing gig but it has become stressful Which is making drivers sick. Amazon flex drivers don’t get breaks or lunch time even don’t have a place to pee and poo.

Perhaps Amazon Flex drivers should start a class action lawsuit against giant internet company Amazon, Jeff Bezos, their investors and board of directors? like it was ruled by a judge recently in Los Angeles county against Lyft that their drivers are not contractors when they are forced to do quotas and lots or rules that they need to follow while working in the logistics business. You can read

Los Angeles Times article published on April 30, 2018 headline: California’s top court makes it more difficult for employers to classify workers as independent contractors.

Rosemead station needs help to organize blocks or route because they are giving routes of blocks out of the service area such as North Hollywood, Compton, Buena Park, Bell Flower etc. Rosemead station is supposed to service the following areas in the San Gabriel Valley

Altadena

Alhambra

Arcadia

Avocado Heights

Azusa

Baldwin Park

Bassett

Bradbury

Charter Oak

Citrus

City of Industry

That’s why those drivers sign up to drive in their communities.

Amazon Flex Drivers are contractors should not be force to do quantity or drive areas that they did not sign up for because they are not employees of Amazon.

So consumers may need to think twice before you agree to buy Amazon products and pay for delivery.

How To Clean Your Jeep’s Rooftop Tent After Camping

After you have had a successful jeep rooftop camping trip, you will want to clean your tent before storage. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, cleaning your gear all the time is one of the prices that you have to pay. However, this is nothing as compared to the fun that you get outdoors. Even if this is your first time to clean a rooftop tent after camping, with the actionable tips that you will get here, it will be easy.

Remove all the superficial dirt

If they are dry, they should come off easily. However, they will leave visible stains in the spots where the dirt lumps had stuck. Get rid of the dust, you know, the general dirt that a tent collects when in use.

This is sticky dirt, you know, things like mud and bird droppings that you can scrub out. This is usually the first step to take towards cleaning your jeep roof top tent. With a blunt object, gently scrub at the sticky stains.

A soft-bristled brush should do the job just fine. You may also vacuum the tent to get rid of all the superficial dirt.

Cleaning a tent that has mildew or mold

If you have been camping in moist conditions, it is possible that the tent developed mildew and mold. There is not always enough time to dry the tent before packing it away in its storage pack or carry bag. When you store a wet tent, you create a perfect recipe for the formation of mildew.

You must clean off the mildew in the soonest possible time. You should open the tent fully and clean it with a Lysol (or any other) cleaning solution, just make the Lysol cleaning solution about one cup to one gallon of hot water.

With a sponge, dub this hot solution onto the tent, let it stay a bit and then rinse it off with a lemon solution. After that, just let the tent dry in the sun, making sure to straighten out all the folds so that the sun gets to all places.

Cleaning a tent that smells

When you pack a wet tent and let it stay too long, mildew (as explained above) can form a nasty smell on the tent. Believe it or not, nothing is nastier than a tent that smells! You have to get rid of the smell because if you do not, you will never use that tent again.

There are many causes of a smelly tent. One, it could be the usual dirt and grime of which there is more than a fair share when camping. Secondly, it could be mold and mildew and thirdly, it could be the polyurethane breaking down (mostly happens with old tents).

Hang the tent to dry through the smell. That is right, a clothesline and pegs. You can then take the tent through the cleaning procedure for taking off the mildew and the mold. However, after that, you will have to clean the tent specifically to get rid of the smell.

A vinegar mixture (homemade) is a good remedy for odor. So is a store-bought enzyme cleaner, and there are many of these. Because bacteria usually cause the nasty smell, the enzyme cleaner is going to kill the bacteria. Just wear gloves to protect your hands. Also, ensure the enzyme cleaner is organic so that it doesn’t eat through your tent. The best mixture should be a half-ounce of enzyme cleaner to 20 gallons of water.

Give your tent some good aftercare

Dry the tent under the sun, and then do proper sealing of the seams, and … you may have to reapply a polyurethane coating, if it was worn out.

These are some very useful tips you can use to clean your jeep’s rooftop after a camping trip. Tuff Stuff 4×4 is a great place to find all kinds of roof top tents, winches, bumpers, camping gears and accessories and so on.

Reasons Why Vehicle Depreciation Will Rise in 2019

Being in the vehicle business is a sensitive affair that requires the calculation of risks. As people buy new cars, they are concerned with the resale value ranging from a few years after the purchase to several years. Fleet management companies, especially those dealing with high-end services spend a lot of money to buy state-of-the-art vehicles but lose a lot of money when selling them or disposing of them.

Typically, the used vehicle market is unfair to car owners. For certain reasons, the rate of depreciation for vehicles has been expanding in recent years. If you are in a business that deals with vehicles, you should read this article to know the main reasons why the depreciation will rise even more in 2019.

More Vehicles Manufactured

In 2018, more people bought their first cars than in previous years. This number is expected to be on the rise this year. As a result of this, the manufacturers are now producing more vehicles than ever. This means that used cars are growing in number as well. Consequently, it is now easier to find someone who is willing to dispose of a used vehicle by selling it than in previous years. According to experts, this competition in used car sales has brought down the price of used cars and increased depreciation.

More Fleet Companies

Fleet owners are now spending more money to refresh their vehicles and add new ones. It is easy to find these vehicles being auctioned all over the internet at low prices. Fleet companies that are purchasing new vehicles want to sell their old vehicles as fast as possible to get money for other operations. Although these used vehicles have added features like GPS, dashcams and touchscreens that were bought and installed by reputable experts like like EyeRideOnline, the vehicles are expected to sell at lower prices than ever in 2019.

Design Changes

Recently, vehicle manufacturers have been making numerous changes to the vehicles. Surprisingly, the face-lifting of designs has everything to do with how vehicles depreciate. It is a no-brainer that people want to drive attractive vehicles that make them stand out on the road.

In 2020, over 60 percent of vehicle manufacturers are expected to change the designs of their popular models. Actually, most of them have offered a glimpse of how their next generation vehicles will look. According to analysts, many first-time car buyers would rather wait for one more year to buy these vehicles. This will cause more depreciation of used vehicles in 2019.2018-BMW-DiversityNewsMagazine.org

Vehicle Technology

As manufacturers develop more sophisticated vehicle technology solutions, the previous models tend to depreciate at a high rate. According to the trend, there is always new technology that is being added to the newly released models. In this regard, no one wants to buy a used vehicle with few features to enjoy while the new ones have better options.

In 2019, the rate of depreciation of used vehicles will be on the rise as people chase the latest generation of vehicles. In fact, these latest vehicles are offering more and better features than ever.

Buying Guide for Yamaha XSR700 OEM & Aftermarket Parts

If you need a bike that has incredible linear acceleration, good torque, 74 horsepower and a super light chassis, they do not come any better than the Yamaha XSR700. However, straight from the showroom, this bike will meet your needs as perfectly. Still you might want to customize it a little bit in your own way replacing some of the stock parts with better aftermarket parts after few years of driving it. OEM motorcycle parts restore the bike to its original condition. Aftermarket parts increase performance, handling, stability and your riding comfort.

Here are some of the Yamaha aftermarket parts that you should get for your Yamaha XSR700:

Air And Fuel Parts

Stock air and fuel filters for the Yamaha XSR700 are good, but their OEM counterparts are even better. If you want more power, you will have to increase the air intake so that your bike burns more fuel.

Using a part finder website will bring you many options for places where you can get these parts. For example, a K&N air filter for your Yamaha can cost anywhere from $40. A BikeMaster fuel filter can cost anything from $10 dollars. Remember, it all depends on where you get your OEM parts.

Exhaust Systems And Pipes

Many people do not like the stock exhaust system and pipe that the Yamaha XSR700 comes with. It is easy to replace or improve this part. You may want to try slip-on add-ons, which will enhance the rumble of your bike.

Companies like MotorSport have full exhaust systems for this Yamaha bike. This will cost you a tidy sum of money but hey, anything for your bike! Slip-ons include chrome mufflers from names like Spark. A slip-on muffler can reduce the air intake restrictions to the engine. Other things that you may consider include exhaust decibel killer baffles for a more silent ride.

Aftermarket Brakes

We all know that stock brakes do not give your Yamaha the best stopping power. Installing aftermarket brake pads and Kevlar/stainless steel-coated lines from aftermarket suppliers is a good option. HH brake pads, EBC brake rotor and Vortex brake and clutch lever kits are all good choices for your bike.

Dash And Gauges

With dashes, computers and gauges from Starlane, you can change the looks of your bike in a few moments. Data acquisition systems, Stealth GPS with Mapping, Radar and Laser detect systems and many more are available from aftermarket parts providers. You may even include the head unit and the sensors. From some of the parts that are mentioned here, you can see that just about anything on your Yamaha is replaceable.

If your bike has damaged any of the above, or even more parts, you can just buy OEM parts to restore it to its original glory. Buying aftermarket or OEM depends on your needs.

2015 Seahawks vs Cowboys Predictions

The 3-4 Seahawks are headed to Arlington and seeking revenge against the 2-4 Cowboys who shocked the world by beating the reigning Super Bowl champs at home in 2014. Something no other opponent was able to do..

The Seahawks, much like the Cowboys, are off to a slow start in 2015. Both teams are desperately seeking some new found hope in a last ditch effort to return to the playoffs. In this post the YDCFF staff share our thoughts and predictions for the rematch.

Kevin Sivells: Well, it is revenge time for the Seattle Seahawks. They are coming into Dallas with a chip on their shoulders. I am pretty sure they have not forgotten how these Cowboys rode into Seattle last season and out muscled them in their home stadium.
I am pretty sure they want to return the favor. The way the Dallas Cowboys offense is playing right now they may just get the last laugh. On the other side, the way the Boys defense is stepping up, anything is possible in this game.

Only unit that is operating close to full strength. If the offense can sustain some drives to keep them fresh, I believe they can contain Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson. This means Cassel has to take care of the ball and Garrett has to stick to the running game. Especially since Darren McFadden is showing why you brought him to Dallas in the first place. The Seahawks are just as hungry for a win. The NFC West is a division you do not want to fall to far behind in. The defense is starting to come back to life and the offense is starting to find Jimmy Graham.

Bottom line, this game is a battle of wills. WILL the Cowboys offense help the defense by limiting turnovers? Will the Cowboys defense have enough gas in the tank towards the end of the second half if the offense doesn’t help? Will this be the game the Seattle Seahawks return to their old form? My prediction for this game is simple. If Matt Cassel can show some resemblance to Danny White (We know Aikman, Romo, Staubach he will NEVER be), the Cowboys might have a chance. Right now I see this game going to the Seahawks 28-17. Sorry guys. I don’t see Matt Cassel getting around the Seattle defense.

Al Beam: The Seahawks are currently victims of not only the salary cap, but some poor decisions by the front office. Giving a big contract to a QB who has never shown the ability to stand in the pocket and win games with his arm, or show any consistency as a deep threat, has led to them losing some key players up front. Football is won in the trenches and the Seahawks sacrificed three offensive linemen. Two of them went to the Jets, and the third to the Saints (All Pro Center Max Unger) in a trade for Jimmy Graham. For them to think Russell Wilson would have the same chemistry with Graham that Drew Brees did, was foolish at best.

Not prioritizing the protection of their highest paid player makes no sense to me and the results were predictable. Wilson is the most sacked QB in the NFL with 31, despite his mobility. His passing production has never merited the contract he got. Currently he has amassed 1,668 yards (238.2 YPG, 28th in the NFL) 8 Tds, 5 INTs and 3 fumbles. He continues to ride on the back of Marshawn Lynch and his defense that is 5th in points allowed (18.3), 3rd in yards per game (294.1), 3rd against the pass (200 YPG), and 6th against the run (94.1 YPG). Much like the Cowboys, their defense needs some help from the offense.

This game is going to come down to two things. Which team can have the most success running the ball, and which QB can do a better job of sustaining drives and putting up points without turning the ball over. The Giants secondary isn’t even in the same zip code as the Seattle Seahawks and Matt Cassel threw 3 interceptions. Russell Wilson has a passer rating of 97.0 to Matt Cassel’s 62.3; despite having arguably the worst OL in the NFL. With Tony Romo or Kellen Moore at the helm, I would give the nod to the Cowboys, but I can’t trust Matt Cassel to protect the football against the 3rd ranked secondary in the NFL.

The Seahawks will pound Lynch on the ground to keep the pass rush at bay and the coaches will trust their secondary in man coverage so they can focus on taking away the run and getting pressure on Cassel. Forcing Matt to win with his arm will lead to turnovers. I am not going to predict a score, but I anticipate a win by the Seahawks. . I just can’t trust the QB.

About Bobbie Shaw Chance:

Bobbie Shaw Chance began her acting career at only 17 years old with the help of acclaimed agent to the stars and former vice president of ICM talent management, Jack Gilardi.

Bobbie Shaw Chance aka Acting Coach to the Stars. ‘E’ Entertainment began her legendary career starring in the “Beach Party Films” as a young ingénue with Franky Avalon. She went on to star with Rob Reiner academy award winning Richard Dreyfus and Larry Bishop. In “The Session” New York and Los Angeles’s first improvisational comedy group that ultimately paved the way for future successful shows of its kind, such as “Saturday Night Live” and “Who’s line is it anyway.”

When “The Session” split up, Bobbie married writer Larry Chance, had 2 children Allison and Richard, starred in five independent feature films and began her crusade with The Abused Children’s Foundation in conjunction with The Free Arts for abused children. She invented a process by incorporating Theater games and on-stage improvisation as a means to treat the children’s emotional wounds. As a result Bobbie has been successful in getting hundreds of children to open up and learn to trust others through the arts.

In 1990, while raising her two children Allison and Richie with her Husband, Larry, Bobbie opened the Hollywood Actor’s Showcase, LLC formerly Expressions Unlimited actors workshop in Sherman Oaks, California. With an ever-changing group of talent coming through the door from new up-and-comers to soon to be famous celebrities including; Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Dorff, Breckin Myer, Devon Aoki, Scarlett Johansson, Drew Barrymore, Taryn Manning and more, Expressions Unlimited now known as Hollywood Actor’s Showcase became a staple in Hollywood.

Over the years, leading television networks have and continue to cast Bobbie as Hollywood’s acting guru on show’s such as WB’s hit show “The Starlet” with Faye Dunaway and Vivica A. Fox, as well as “Faking It” for TLC. “Fight for Fame” on “E” Entertainment. “Family Crews” for BET, Eva Longoria’s pilot “Beso: Waiting to be Famous“, Dr. Phil’s “Decision House“,  “R & B Divas” and 2 episodes of “Keeping up with the Kardashians“. E! Entertainment has even dubbed her as, “Acting Coach to the Stars”.

They’re then being pursued by the Carolina Panthers (+900), Pittsburgh Steelers (+1,000), Green Bay Packers (+1,200), Arizona Cardinals (+1,400), Cincinnati Bengals (+1,600) and the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos (+1,600).

Not surprisingly, similar odds are listed across the net. The favorites are the favorites, there’s no other way about it. All of the oddsmakers listed at this sportsbook review site say the same. The Patriots are favored, followed by a Seahawks and Panthers tie. So in other words, we could be looking at an instant replay of the 2015 playoffs. Things could end up shaking down in the exact same fashion. Although, there will be a few changes to take note of.

In Seattle, the days of ‘Beast Mode’ are no more. Marshawn Lynch has announced his retirement and is moving on from the game. The Seahawks are moving on as well. They’ll now put the starting running back reins in the hands of Thomas Rawls. They’ll also likely have starting tight end Jimmy Graham back for the postseason. So expect Seattle to be a stronger looking crew up front.

Another rebuilt team will be the New England Patriots. Well, not exactly rebuilt, mind you. They will have most of the same players, but they’ll also likely be healthy. Meaning their postseason roster will look very different from its 2016 rendition. At running back, Dion Lewis and LaGarrette Blount will return to help carry the load, literally. If all goes according to plan, the team will also look to have a healthy Julian Edelman at wide receiver for more than just nine games next season as well.

The biggest change will come in Denver. It appears that the Denver Broncos are looking to move on from Peyton Manning, regardless of what he decides to do with his future. This means that Brock Osweiler will be in the driver seat. He filled in for Manning this past season and posted a 5-2 record. He also put up far better numbers than the aging quarterback across the board. The only downside, is that he does not have the experience of Manning. Combine that with the possibility of losing Super Bowl 50 MVP linebacker Von Miller to free agency, and the Broncos could be looking at a pretty big setback next season.

Hollywood Hit Recording Artist Fawn Releases CD To Benefit Special Needs Animals

Billboard Hit Recording Artist Fawn
Billboard Hit Recording Artist Fawn.

On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Stonedef Records announced that they are releasing a new album ‪this Friday, November 20, 2015 from the Billboard hit recording artist Fawn.

The album entitled, “Remnants” is an 11 song CD of original piano-based compositions written by the award-winning singer/songwriter and composer. Fifty percent of the proceeds ‪through December 31, 2015 will benefit The Pepper Foundation, a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of senior and special needs dogs.

Fawn (aka ‘Songirl’) is recognized for her television, film, commercials, pop and dance songs, so this is a departure from her past musical endeavors. According to Fawn, “Even though I’m known more for my pop songs and dance hit, I’ve always written piano pieces, as well as many other styles of music, and I decided to compile some of my piano compositions into an album.” Another immense change is her easily recognized lady Godiva blond braids. This album cover shows Fawn for the first time, braid-less, with what she proclaims to be her “normal hair when it’s not tied up”.

With half of all sales from this album going to dogs, it’s no wonder the front of the album cover depicts Fawn with her beloved rescue dog (an American Eskimo appropriately named ‘Composer’), who lived to the age of 23. Fawn recalls, “He was the one true love of my life, who knew me better than I knew myself.” Fawn continued, “These are the songs that reveal my inner makings—the turmoil, the heart ache—they are the compositions I wrote when my feelings were so strong, that all I could do was sit at the piano and allow the emotions to flow through my fingers onto the piano. Those deep, heart-wrenching moments were so profound and personal that no words were able to come out.” Fawn concluded, “The music from this album poured out of my soul, like a river overflowing and these musical pieces are the result of my emotions and tears.”

President and founder of The Pepper Foundation, Julie Chadwick said, “It is a great honor that the amazing songwriter Fawn is sharing her music with the world and with us this holiday season by donating 50% of all proceeds to the Pepper Foundation.” She explained, “The Pepper Foundation is dedicated to rescuing special needs senior dogs from high kill shelters and we are very lucky and blessed that an incredible artist like Fawn is so generously supporting our mission.” Julie concluded, “With each purchase of Fawn’s album, you will be helping save another precious life and help them get the medical care and love each of them so desperately needs.”

Fawn explained, “I think Julie is very passionate about these little innocent seniors and special needs animals. She is compassionate, caring and gets them top notch care, meets their medical needs, finds them wonderful homes or fosters so they can be loved up until the end, like they deserve. She truly cares about seniors that families dump at the shelter, and the specialized dogs that get left behind. She will leave no stone unturned when it comes to their happiness, health and over all well-being. She’s just fantastic.”
