LA Pride 2022 Is Back to Hollywood

2022 LA Pride Parade Back to Hollywood
2022 LA Pride Parade Back to Hollywood

Iconic LGBTQIA+ parade in Los Angeles to occur Sunday, June 12 in Hollywood

On February 22, 2022, Christopher Street West (CSW), producer of LA Pride announced that its annual Pride parade will return on June 12 after a two year hiatus. The second largest Pride parade in the nation will now be centered in Hollywood, a historic shift away from West Hollywood in the 50+ years since the parade became a regular occurrence.

Because of the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, LA Pride did not have the opportunity to celebrate the parade’s 50th anniversary. This year as the parade moves forward in its new route and location, it will be broadcast live by our longtime media partner KABC-TV/ABC7.

LA Pride Parade is set to feature over 130 parade floats, marchers, trucks, exotic cars, twirlers, performers and more, marching in style as only the LGBTQ community of LA and its allies can!

This year’s theme is #LoveYourPride, and we invite you to do it with thousands of your closest friends in a spirit of unity, joy, and fabulousness! After all, that’s what Pride is all about!

Be sure to arrive early to get a great spot along the parade route. Parking in Hollywood can be tough, so please consider using convenient public transportation – the Hollywood/Highland station is best – or use rideshare.

After the parade, head over to Pride Village on Hollywood Blvd. between Cahuenga & Vine, and a beverage garden on Cosmo between Hollywood & Selma. Pride Village is a new neighborhood festival organized by The Hollywood Partnership in collaboration with LA Pride.

Sponsor tents will be on the section of Hollywood between Ivar and Vine, near the Ferris wheel, community stage and vendor booths. That’s right! We said Ferris wheel! Learn more by checking out this Hollywood Pride Guide.

“LA Pride is thrilled to come together this year to commemorate the historic anniversary at the parade’s first and original location,” said Gerald Garth, vice president of programs and initiatives. “As a mission-driven and community-centered non-profit organization, CSW recognizes that LGBTQ+ experiences of Los Angeles are broader than just one neighborhood. Considering feedback gathered since the pandemic began, we are committed to creating experiences and access to our entire community, including many of those who have been most underserved and underrepresented.

Every year, CSW organizes its Pride Month activations and events thematically and after the two years without a parade, this year will be no exception. The commitment to equity includes a focus on generational, experiential and geographic diversity that will live beyond solely the month of June and into the year following.

Continued Gerald: “We considered many options for the parade, both traditional and progressive. Hollywood as the original historical location for the first Los Angeles protest 50 years ago was a natural choice to honor what Pride really means and where Pride will go in the future. We are continuing to work closely with the city and community stakeholders to confirm additional details that we look forward to sharing very soon.”

LA Pride will follow health and safety guidance as outlined by LA County health officials and the CDC. Information about route, safety, security, float capacity, and further parade and programming will be available on www.lapride.org.

Those other wannabe candidates, you guys are a joke! and they are doing it because they have big mouths and someone is braining washing their small heads. Covid-19 is not the fault of CA Governor Gavin Newsom. Perhaps some of you should look at your selves and say why those homeless? Well you are greedy that expect tenants to pay for your entire mortgage loan. Perhaps you need to rent your properties at decent prices. Also when you hire someone, you want to pay peanuts. So is not the CA Governor Newsom responsible for all the bad things in the state. Man up and look at the problems that you have created and find solutions! Those big mouth who want to be street politicians and bringing on the dirty laundry of the candidates are just desperate and interested for the big paycheck. They have no idea of  how to run a Diverse state like is California. Don’t take me wrong, I have friends from all the parties, but I been observing and is embarrassing seen whom are running to break what is already fixed. I personally know Mr, Kevil Kaul and some of his group followers and I can state he is not ready to run this state. Mr. Kevin Kaul needs a lot of work on himself! Mr. Kevin Kaul ca not be a governor of the State of CA. in fact he needs helps to run his own business ventures professionally. About Mrs. Caitlyn Jenner, well she is a rich person and her ego is more important to her like that she can show off and brag it. Remember Caitlyn Jenner is a person that can change her mind anytime about whatever. Even though she has lots of money from her other past life. She want more money to show it and brag off.

Governor Gavin Newsom, You are doing great, don’t let this big mouth people take you down. Just call a meeting with the members of assembly to make law bills to lover business and payroll taxes because those business are leaving the state and they blaming you for it. Make a law to help new starting business with a $5K to $15K and $25K to start a business in CA. Where no taxes for the first 5 to 10 years. Create incentives for business owners and provides tools for them to run the business.

Diversity News Media Brands Publisher Files Trademark For Diversity News Magazine Dot Com Domain Name

Diversity News Magazine dot com December 2011
Diversity News Magazine dot com December 2011

Diversity News Magazine founded and owned since 2011 by Esteban Steven Escobar files for domain name trademark!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEDiversity News Media Brands formerly Diversity News Publications publisher of Diversity News Magazine Org and Diversity News Magazine Dot Com files for Diversity News Magazine Dot Com trademark with the USPTO. Mr. Esteban Escobar aka Steven Escobar who is the owner and founder of Diversity News Magazine Dot Com files for company name and domain trademark.

During July – September 2019, Mr. Escobar was not able to pay the renewal fees to GoDaddy immediately due to financial hardship and litigation going at the moment. When Mr. Escobar was ready to renew its domain on September 2019 GoDaddy has already sold the domain to a guy overseas from Punjab, Pakistan who is a domain squatter. Immediately Mr. Escobar registered the domain name Diversity News Magazine Org while consulting with his colleagues and friends on ways to get back his Diversity News Magazine Dot com domain. Mr. Escobar was advised to trademark his domain name which he has done.

For your information, the domain squatter will first perform searches on the availability of domain names, which include business names, brand names, trademark names, or anything he or she feels will be valuable to the company willing to pay for. If it’s available, the individual buys the domain name, with the intent of selling it at a higher price to the owner of the business or the brand.

Diversity News Magazine November 2019
Sarah Jones who is currently violating our trademark domain name is a been a cybersquatting participant. Please note that she is not an employee, not an agent, not consultant, not a representative or is not part of Diversity News Magazine.com neither DiversityNewsMagazine.org or any other subsidiaries of Diversity News Media Brands. We ask that to be aware of possible fraud and scams where we are not to be held liable or responsible for the individual cybersquatting tactics.
Archive org Diversity News Magazine November 2019 page 2
Archive org Diversity News Magazine November 2019 page 2

For those people who does not know what Cybersquatting means, it means the practice of registering names, especially well-known company or brand names, as internet domains, in the hope of reselling them at a profit. It also means registering, trafficking in, or using an Internet domain name with bad faith intent to profit from the goodwill of a trademark belonging to someone else. The term is derived from “squatting“, which is the act of occupying an abandoned or unoccupied space or building that the squatter does not own, rent, or otherwise have permission to use.

So after purchasing the domain, the Pakistan domain squatter man contacted Mr. Escobar asking to give him access to his Diversity News Magazine Gmail account and wanted all his Diversity News Magazine social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn etc. The Pakistan middle east man offered Mr. Escobar $100 US Dollars for all his social media profile pages. However, this Pakistan domain squatter did purchase Diversity News Magazine Dot com because he needed to make a quick buck. The Pakistan cyber squatter has read online that Mr. Escobar needed money. The Pakistani Cyber squatter tried to Cybersquatting Mr. Escobar by asking him to sale all his social media profile accounts including Gmail for $100 US dollars. Mr. Escobar very well knows that his social media pages are worth more than $100 US dollars in fact he knows some of his pages are worth thousands of dollars.

Our Diversity News Magazine logoDomain squatting is illegal. A domain squatter is blocking the rightful owner of the trademark or brand from acquiring the domain name and using it to increase his or her internet visibility.

The law looks at domain squatting as similar to holding a property (the domain name) in order to raise ransom, and it is considered a trademark infringement. If a domain squatter can’t prove a legal intent in owning the domain name, it is considered to be a bad faith registration, and he or she is considered guilty of domain squatting.

Diversity News Magazine City of Los Angeles awardFor those who does not know what Cybersquatting means, it means the practice of registering names, especially well-known company or brand names, as internet domains, in the hope of reselling them at a profit. The Pakistani guy contacted Mr. Escobar via Facebook and Twitter. One time the Pakistan man asked Mr. Escobar to buy back Diversity News Magazine Dot Com from him for a higher price.

Diversity News Magazine Summer-Fall Special Print Issue Featuring Bobbie Shaw Chance Acting Coach to the Stars 7-1-16 to 9-31-16.Mr. Escobar has been keeping an eye on his domain and because he keeps getting emails from former readers, partners, affiliates and colleagues asking if he is still in charge of Diversity News Magazine Dot Com. So after consulting with various colleagues, on 3-31-2021, Mr. Escobar decided to trademark Diversity News Magazine name and Diversity News Magazine Dot Com domain.
Diversity News Magazine Dot Com and Diversity News Magazine Org are Mr. Escobar companies in the US. Mr. Escobar tells us that lots of middle east people are desperate to make a quick buck so they do this kind of illegal things. Mr. Escobar advices anyone reading this press release to secure your intellectual properties because out there in the battle field are desperate rats! who trying to benefit on others hard work. To the individual that purchase Diversity News Magazine Dot com domain from the domain squatter you know that’s illegal and if you are a good person, you should have contacted Mr. Escobar directly but not been a desperate rat with no brains to start your own media site! Perhaps you haven’t read the newspaper or seen the news online on how companies reach  to each other to purchase to make offers and an end buying legally those media companies.

DiversityNewsMagazine dot com with trademark register logo
DiversityNewsMagazine dot com with trademark register logo

So the Pakistan worm domain squatter man researched Mr. Escobar’s Diversity News Magazine Dot com and Diversity News Publications Dot com domains. The Pakistan worm domain squatter man found out that Mr. Escobar is been investing, running and promoting Diversity News Publications and Diversity News Magazine since 2003 to the present which is over 18 years. Diversity News Publications and Diversity New Magazine are known and recognized in Southern California by many organizations including government officials. In fact Diversity News Publications and Diversity New Magazine has received multiple awards and nominations in Southern California from non profit organizations and government officials.

Hollywood Star Recipient and Actress Kate Linder from The Young and the Restless featured on Diversity News Magazine
Hollywood Star Recipient and Actress Kate Linder from The Young and the Restless featured on Diversity News Magazine

Mr. Escobar wants to set the record clear that yes in deed he is the owner and founder of Diversity News Magazine, DiversityNewsMagazine.com name and domain. Diversity News Publications Dot Com and Diversity News Magazine Dot com were founded in 2003 in Los Angeles, CA. The name Diversity News Publications which owns Diversity News Magazine Dot com was a registered business entity in the City of Los Angeles and as well Diversity News Magazine. Diversity News Media Brands formerly Diversity News Publications is the publisher of Diversity News Magazine Dot Com and Diversity News Magazine Org. So Diversity News Magazine is known as a company name and a trademark as well. His founder and owner Mr. Esteban Escobar aka Steven Escobar is known for those company and domain names.

Domain Trademark Infringement – Cease and Desist letter dated 7-15-21 Domain Trademark Infringement – Cease and Desist letter dated 7-15-21
If you Google Diversity News Magazine Dot com and Diversity News Publications Dot com you will find that Mr. Steven Escobar information is listed along in various website directories as the owner and publisher with his contact information such as emails and telephone number. Also lots of marketing and public relations organizations email their press releases for publication to Mr. Escobar to be published on his domains Diversity News Magazine Dot com, Diversity News Publications Dot com and Diversity News Magazine Org.

So now that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has published that Mr. Esteban Escobar has filed for the trademark DIVERSITY NEWS MAGAZINE – DIVERSITYNEWSMAGAZINE.COM. Mr. Escobar issue a Trademark Infringement – Cease and Desist and Domain Trademark Infringement – Cease and Desist to the known Registrar and Hosting companies as well the contact in the domain Whois database which is mostly hidden as private. So Mr. Escobar received a response from the person that may have bought Diversity News Magazine Dot com from the worm Pakistan domain squatter. The person is refusing to cooperate by transferring Diversity News Magazine Dot com to Mr. Escobar hosting company. Also one of the hosting companies representative has responded stating that the trademark is not true enforceable because is in process at the USPTO.

Diversity News Magazine CA State Assembly award
Diversity News Magazine State of CA Assembly award

Mr. Escobar just want his the infringement person or individuals to stop using his domain name. Mr. Escobar is the one who has expended many years and thousands of dollars on Diversity News Magazine Dot com in the domain marketing, SEO, performance and online footprint. He would not do something like that if he is not interested on it. So the domain squatter knew what he was doing just to get a quick buck. Mr. Escobar bumped with a woman of the name of Sarah John who has is hiding her identity. Mr. Escobar thinks Sarah John may be the one that make a deal with the worm Pakistan domain squatter by buying the domain from him. That makes Sarah John a domain squatter herself!

For those of you reading this press release let me tell you that Sara John or any aka’s she may use is not the owner of Diversity News Magazine Dot com We have requested proof of registration and ownership from Sara John and she haven’t comply neither is not cooperating. Sara John keeps infringing Mr. Escobar trademark name. Sara John Cybersquatting is illegal and you must transfer the domain to Mr. Escobar because he never gave up on his domain. To those individuals or companies that are paying or sponsoring Sarah John to publish guest articles on Diversity News Magazine Dot Com I ask to stop because Sara John is not the owner of the trademark Diversity News Magazine neither an agent, nor an employee of Diversity News Magazine. Mr. Escobar will ask the Icann organization to shut the website down if Sarah John doesn’t transfer to him before the end of July 2021.

Diversity News Magazine & Steven Escobar City of Los Angeles award
Also please note that Sara John or whomever she is affiliated does has any rights and do not own Diversity News Magazine dot com and be cautions of fraud or scams. Mr. Escobar does not want to consider a lawsuit against the infringer, but he is considering shutting down website Diversity News Magazine Dot Com. EDITORIAL: State and National Shield Laws in the US

First Amendment
First Amendment

Editorial and Opinions Education: State and National Shield Laws in the USA

First, we want to define for you what an Editorial piece means:

An editorial, leading article (UK) or leader (UK), is an opinion piece written by the senior editorial staff or publisher of a newspaper, magazine, or any other written document. Editorials may be supposed to reflect the opinion of the periodical.[citation needed] In Australian and major United States newspapers, such as The New York Times[1] and The Boston Globe,[2] editorials are often classified under the heading “opinion”.

Illustrated editorials may appear in the form of editorial cartoons.[3]

Typically, a newspaper’s editorial board evaluates which issues are important for their readership to know the newspaper’s opinion.[4]

Editorials are typically published on a dedicated page, called the editorial page, which often features letters to the editor from members of the public; the page opposite this page is called the op-ed page and frequently contains opinion pieces by writers not directly affiliated with the publication. However, a newspaper may choose to publish an editorial on the front page. In the English language press, this is done rarely and only on topics considered especially important; however, it is more common in some European countries such as Spain, Italy, and France.[5]

In the field of fashion publishing, the term has been adapted to refer to photo-editorials – features with often full-page photographs on a particular theme, designer, model or other single topic, with or (as a photo-essay) without accompanying text.[6]

Second, we want to define for you what an Opinion piece means:

In general, an opinion is a judgment, viewpoint, or statement about matters commonly considered to be subjective.

What distinguishes fact from opinion is that facts are verifiable, i.e. can be objectively proven to have occurred. An example is: “United States of America was involved in the Vietnam War” versus “United States of America was right to get involved in the Vietnam War”. An opinion may be supported by facts, in which case it becomes an argument, although people may draw opposing opinions from the same set of facts. Opinions rarely change without new arguments being presented. It can be reasoned that one opinion is better supported by the facts than another by analyzing the supporting arguments.[1] In casual use, the term opinion may be the result of a person’s perspective, understanding, particular feelings, beliefs, and desires. It may refer to unsubstantiated information, in contrast to knowledge and fact.

Collective or professional opinions are defined as meeting a higher standard to substantiate the opinion.

Editorial opinion[edit]

An “editorial opinion” is the stated opinion of a newspaper or of its publisher, as conveyed on the editorial page.

And Fourth California Shield Law:

In California, article I, section 2(b) of the California Constitution and Evidence Code section 1070 provide an immunity from being held in contempt to reporters, editors, publishers, and other people connected with or employed by newspapers, magazines, press associations and wire services, as well as radio or TV news reporters.

The California shield law applies to both the source of information (“confidential sources”) and to “unpublished information” such as notes, out-takes, unpublished photographs and tapes.

When a criminal defendant seeks information protected by the shield law, the courts have set up a “balancing test” which weighs how important the information is to the criminal defendant, whether the defendant can get the information elsewhere, and other factors.  See Delaney v. Superior Court (1990) 50 Cal. 3d 785.

On the other hand, when the prosecution seeks information in a criminal law, the shield law is absolute.  Miller v. Superior Court (1999) 21 Cal. 4th 883.  And in a civil case where the press is not a party, the immunity from contempt is also absolute – there’s no balancing test.  New York Times v. Superior Court (1990) 51 Cal. 3d 453.   This case helps journalists avoid being forced to be professional witnesses instead of professional journalists.

Does the shield law cover bloggers?  Good question.  The California shield law covers people “connected with or employed upon” a “newspaper, magazine, or other periodical publication, or by a press association or wire service.”   That question is likely to be litigated in the near future.

Additional information on the California Shield Law, Evidence Code Section 1070

1070. (a) A publisher, editor, reporter, or other person connected with or employed upon a newspaper, magazine, or other periodical publication, or by a press association or wire service, or any person who has been so connected or employed, cannot be adjudged in contempt by a judicial, legislative, administrative body, or any other body having the power to issue subpoenas, for refusing to disclose, in any proceeding as defined in Section 901, the source of any information procured while so connected or employed for publication in a newspaper, magazine or other periodical publication, or for refusing to disclose any unpublished information obtained or prepared in gathering, receiving or processing of information for communication to the public.

(b) Nor can a radio or television news reporter or other person connected with or employed by a radio or television station, or any person who has been so connected or employed, be so adjudged in contempt for refusing to disclose the source of any information procured while so connected or employed for news or news commentary purposes on radio or television, or for refusing to disclose any unpublished information obtained or prepared in gathering, receiving or processing of information for communication to the public.

(c) As used in this section, “unpublished information” includes information not disseminated to the public by the person from whom disclosure is sought, whether or not related information has been disseminated and includes, but is not limited to, all notes, outtakes, photographs, tapes or other data of whatever sort not itself disseminated to the public through a medium of communication, whether or not published information based upon or related to such material has been disseminated.

To read more on National and US Legal Shield Laws click on: Briefing Paper on Protection of Journalists’ Sources

Editor’s Note: Now you have it. Educate yourself if you do not want the “Real Press or Media” teams to report of what they saw then make your event private and remember press or media representatives are not your publicist and is against journalism code of ethics to accept payment for exchange on an exemplary article. Those are not real journalists and they out of the blue bought a video camera or  photo camera and became media or press but has no direction or guidelines of the rules set by professional organizations for Journalists and Media or Press Associations such as: http://www.naa.orghttp://newamericamedia.org/network/association, SPJLos Angeles Press Club and many more. They have no idea the formats how to write. They have no education on the field. So sad those desperate publicists accepts anyone that claims to be media or press!

2015 Seahawks vs Cowboys Predictions

The 3-4 Seahawks are headed to Arlington and seeking revenge against the 2-4 Cowboys who shocked the world by beating the reigning Super Bowl champs at home in 2014. Something no other opponent was able to do..

The Seahawks, much like the Cowboys, are off to a slow start in 2015. Both teams are desperately seeking some new found hope in a last ditch effort to return to the playoffs. In this post the YDCFF staff share our thoughts and predictions for the rematch.

Kevin Sivells: Well, it is revenge time for the Seattle Seahawks. They are coming into Dallas with a chip on their shoulders. I am pretty sure they have not forgotten how these Cowboys rode into Seattle last season and out muscled them in their home stadium.
I am pretty sure they want to return the favor. The way the Dallas Cowboys offense is playing right now they may just get the last laugh. On the other side, the way the Boys defense is stepping up, anything is possible in this game.

Only unit that is operating close to full strength. If the offense can sustain some drives to keep them fresh, I believe they can contain Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson. This means Cassel has to take care of the ball and Garrett has to stick to the running game. Especially since Darren McFadden is showing why you brought him to Dallas in the first place. The Seahawks are just as hungry for a win. The NFC West is a division you do not want to fall to far behind in. The defense is starting to come back to life and the offense is starting to find Jimmy Graham.

Bottom line, this game is a battle of wills. WILL the Cowboys offense help the defense by limiting turnovers? Will the Cowboys defense have enough gas in the tank towards the end of the second half if the offense doesn’t help? Will this be the game the Seattle Seahawks return to their old form? My prediction for this game is simple. If Matt Cassel can show some resemblance to Danny White (We know Aikman, Romo, Staubach he will NEVER be), the Cowboys might have a chance. Right now I see this game going to the Seahawks 28-17. Sorry guys. I don’t see Matt Cassel getting around the Seattle defense.

Al Beam: The Seahawks are currently victims of not only the salary cap, but some poor decisions by the front office. Giving a big contract to a QB who has never shown the ability to stand in the pocket and win games with his arm, or show any consistency as a deep threat, has led to them losing some key players up front. Football is won in the trenches and the Seahawks sacrificed three offensive linemen. Two of them went to the Jets, and the third to the Saints (All Pro Center Max Unger) in a trade for Jimmy Graham. For them to think Russell Wilson would have the same chemistry with Graham that Drew Brees did, was foolish at best.

Not prioritizing the protection of their highest paid player makes no sense to me and the results were predictable. Wilson is the most sacked QB in the NFL with 31, despite his mobility. His passing production has never merited the contract he got. Currently he has amassed 1,668 yards (238.2 YPG, 28th in the NFL) 8 Tds, 5 INTs and 3 fumbles. He continues to ride on the back of Marshawn Lynch and his defense that is 5th in points allowed (18.3), 3rd in yards per game (294.1), 3rd against the pass (200 YPG), and 6th against the run (94.1 YPG). Much like the Cowboys, their defense needs some help from the offense.

This game is going to come down to two things. Which team can have the most success running the ball, and which QB can do a better job of sustaining drives and putting up points without turning the ball over. The Giants secondary isn’t even in the same zip code as the Seattle Seahawks and Matt Cassel threw 3 interceptions. Russell Wilson has a passer rating of 97.0 to Matt Cassel’s 62.3; despite having arguably the worst OL in the NFL. With Tony Romo or Kellen Moore at the helm, I would give the nod to the Cowboys, but I can’t trust Matt Cassel to protect the football against the 3rd ranked secondary in the NFL.

The Seahawks will pound Lynch on the ground to keep the pass rush at bay and the coaches will trust their secondary in man coverage so they can focus on taking away the run and getting pressure on Cassel. Forcing Matt to win with his arm will lead to turnovers. I am not going to predict a score, but I anticipate a win by the Seahawks. . I just can’t trust the QB.

Hollywood Hit Recording Artist Fawn Releases CD To Benefit Special Needs Animals

Billboard Hit Recording Artist Fawn
Billboard Hit Recording Artist Fawn.

On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Stonedef Records announced that they are releasing a new album ‪this Friday, November 20, 2015 from the Billboard hit recording artist Fawn.

The album entitled, “Remnants” is an 11 song CD of original piano-based compositions written by the award-winning singer/songwriter and composer. Fifty percent of the proceeds ‪through December 31, 2015 will benefit The Pepper Foundation, a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of senior and special needs dogs.

Fawn (aka ‘Songirl’) is recognized for her television, film, commercials, pop and dance songs, so this is a departure from her past musical endeavors. According to Fawn, “Even though I’m known more for my pop songs and dance hit, I’ve always written piano pieces, as well as many other styles of music, and I decided to compile some of my piano compositions into an album.” Another immense change is her easily recognized lady Godiva blond braids. This album cover shows Fawn for the first time, braid-less, with what she proclaims to be her “normal hair when it’s not tied up”.

With half of all sales from this album going to dogs, it’s no wonder the front of the album cover depicts Fawn with her beloved rescue dog (an American Eskimo appropriately named ‘Composer’), who lived to the age of 23. Fawn recalls, “He was the one true love of my life, who knew me better than I knew myself.” Fawn continued, “These are the songs that reveal my inner makings—the turmoil, the heart ache—they are the compositions I wrote when my feelings were so strong, that all I could do was sit at the piano and allow the emotions to flow through my fingers onto the piano. Those deep, heart-wrenching moments were so profound and personal that no words were able to come out.” Fawn concluded, “The music from this album poured out of my soul, like a river overflowing and these musical pieces are the result of my emotions and tears.”

President and founder of The Pepper Foundation, Julie Chadwick said, “It is a great honor that the amazing songwriter Fawn is sharing her music with the world and with us this holiday season by donating 50% of all proceeds to the Pepper Foundation.” She explained, “The Pepper Foundation is dedicated to rescuing special needs senior dogs from high kill shelters and we are very lucky and blessed that an incredible artist like Fawn is so generously supporting our mission.” Julie concluded, “With each purchase of Fawn’s album, you will be helping save another precious life and help them get the medical care and love each of them so desperately needs.”

Fawn explained, “I think Julie is very passionate about these little innocent seniors and special needs animals. She is compassionate, caring and gets them top notch care, meets their medical needs, finds them wonderful homes or fosters so they can be loved up until the end, like they deserve. She truly cares about seniors that families dump at the shelter, and the specialized dogs that get left behind. She will leave no stone unturned when it comes to their happiness, health and over all well-being. She’s just fantastic.”

To purchase the album go to iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/remnants/id1057835057, Amazon, and other worldwide outlets or you can send a direct donation via paypal to:

Editorial and Opinions Education: State and National Shield Laws in the USA

First, we want to define for you what an Editorial piece means:

An editorialleading article (UK) or leader (UK), is an opinion piece written by the senior editorial staff or publisher of a newspapermagazine, or any other written document.

In the English language press, this is done rarely and only on topics considered especially important; however, it is more common in some European countries such as SpainItaly, and France.[5]

It can be reasoned that one opinion is better supported by the facts than another by analyzing the supporting arguments.[1] In casual use, the term opinion may be the result of a person’s perspectiveunderstanding, particular feelings, beliefs, and desires.

Editor’s Note: Now you have it. Educate yourself if you do not want the “Real Press or Media” teams to report of what they saw then make your event private and remember press or media representatives are not your publicist and is against journalism code of ethics to accept payment for exchange on an exemplary article. Those are not real journalists and they out of the blue bought a video camera or  photo camera and became media or press but has no direction or guidelines of the rules set by professional organizations for Journalists and Media or Press Associations such as: http://www.naa.org, http://newamericamedia.org/network/association, SPJLos Angeles Press Club and many more. They have no idea the formats how to write. They have no education on the field. So sad those desperate publicists accepts anyone that claims to be media or press!

Breaking News: Miss Universe Organization Statement on Miss USA and Miss Universe Beauty Pageants

MISS USA AND MISS UNIVERSE THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

As you may have seen earlier today Monday, June 29, 2015 our breaking news story on NBCUniversal dropping Miss USA and Miss Universe beauty pageants from the networks due to the derogatory statements on Immigrants made by it’s co-owner and producer Mr. Donald J. Trump. Also Mexico’s Televisa  and Carlos Slim from Ora TV ends relationship with Miss Universe.

To be fair and heard both sides, we contacted Miss Universe Organization in New York, NY to get a statement and here is what we received, you can see it and read below their statement. You can read that Miss Universe Organization (MUO) is trying to separate from Mr. Donald J. Trump Sr.

The 2015 MISS USA® Pageant will still take place in Baton Rouge on July 12th. We are disheartened by recent events but the show will go on.

The Miss Universe Organization operates as an independent company. In its 64 year history, and under many owners, Miss Universe has developed into a globally recognized brand, with nearly 150 franchise holders domestically and internationally, the majority of whom are small business owners.

The Miss Universe Organization is built on a foundation of inclusion and continues to be a celebration of diversity and of all cultures. This year’s Miss USA contestants represent many different ethnic backgrounds, including six Latinas (four of whom are of Mexican descent).

Annually, nearly ten thousand young women all around the world participate in MISS UNIVERSE pageant events. We continue to welcome those from all backgrounds to enter our system. Our franchisees work tirelessly every day to empower young women to be confident and to be their personal best while raising awareness and millions of dollars for philanthropic endeavors.

While world politics and other influences will undoubtedly play a role, the pageant will always seek to transcend controversy. It is unfortunate that recent events beyond our control have only served to negatively impact the women who participate in the pageant, our state directors, our sponsors and our fans. We want our supporters to know we remain committed to them and we will be conducting the pageant, regardless of the current situation. We are moving forward, full-steam ahead as planned for the next two weeks, culminating in the crowning of a new Miss USA on July 12th .

EDITOR’S NOTE: You see the show must go on. Here at Diversity News Magazine, Diversity News TV and Diversity News Radio we will try to keep you updated on any news developments and possible coverage of Miss USA and Miss Universe. Wardrobe Spring Cleaning

Wardrobe Spring Cleaning

The weather is warming up, people are starting to spend more time outdoors, and it’s about to be everyone’s favorite time of year. With spring just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about your spring cleaning. And while cleaning out your oven is essential, it’s not that interesting to read about. So we’re going to take a look at another, often neglected area of spring cleaning, cleaning out your wardrobe.

When was the last time you went through your clothes and decided to get rid of all of those clothes you never wear? Can’t remember? You’re not alone. Many of us just let the clothes pile up over time with the thought that hey, we’ll wear this old shirt again someday, right? Wrong. You need to cut the cord and realize that the clothes you don’t like now, you’re never going to like. Spring cleaning is the time to be judicious, and that means taking a hard look at what should stay and what should go. Need some help getting started? We’ve put together a little checklist to guide you along the way. Check it out:

Start with the Basics
Need a place to start? Go for the socks, tee shirts, and underwear drawer, as these are the items that tend to go unnoticed for the longest time. And trust us, you don’t want to let them go that long. In most cases, you could use a refresher on your socks and underwear. Instead of just getting the same plastic package from the department store, treat yourself to something a little higher quality this time around. Try something like VK Nagrani designer underwear that you’ll actually enjoy wearing. With higher quality materials, more interesting styles, and a more flattering cut, you won’t miss your old undies, we promise.

Move into Outerwear
Once you’ve covered the basics, you should move into your outerwear collection. As the weather is getting warmer and you’re going to be moving your jackets to the back of the closet, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about which items are worth storing, and which are just taking up space. If you live somewhere exceptionally cold, we understand holding onto a few extra layers for the sake of warmth, but for most people, if you have more than four jackets, you’re probably never wearing them. Do yourself a favor and toss the ones that you haven’t taken out in years. They’re just a bulky waste of space, and the people at Goodwill can give them to someone who will appreciate them much more.

Judge Your Footwear
Out of everything in your wardrobe, your shoes tend to age the fastest. With the constant contact with rain, pavement, dirt, and grime, your shoes show their age very quickly and very noticeably. While you might have broken in your favorite pair, they probably don’t have the same luster they did when you bought them. It’s ok to say goodbye to your shoes, they were never made to last forever.

When in Doubt, Toss It
The golden rule of spring wardrobe cleaning, if there is such a thing, is that when you’re not sure if you should hold onto something or not, you shouldn’t. Donating your old clothes and shoes is a therapeutic exercise and helps set the stage for becoming the person you want to be. In the spirit of spring renewal, starting over with a new wardrobe is refreshing. You’ll be relieved of that guilty feeling when you see a shirt you haven’t worn in ages, and you’ll make room for some new things to freshen up your look.
