Breaking News: Same Sex Marriage is Legal in All the States of the United States of America
On Friday, June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court, the highest court of the United States rules that Same Sex Marriage banning was unconstitutional.
CNN.com reported: In a landmark opinion, a divided Supreme Court on Friday ruled that same-sex couples can marry nationwide, establishing a new civil right and handing gay rights advocates a historic victory.
In the 5-4 ruling, Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the majority with the four liberal justices. Each of the four conservative justices wrote their own dissent.
Also on Wikipedia states the following: On June 26, 2015, the United States became the twenty-first and most populous country to legalize same-sex marriage, following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges. The court ruled that the denial of marriage licenses to same-sex couples violates the Due Process and the Equal Protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution. The ruling overturned a previous precedent, Baker v. Nelson.
Starting in 2003, various lower court decisions, state legislation, and popular referendums had already legalized same-sex marriage to some degree in thirty-seven out of fifty U.S. states, in one U.S. territory, and in the District of Columbia. Federal benefits were previously extended to lawfully married same-sex couples following the Supreme Court’s June 2013 decision in United States v. Windsor.
On the same day celebrations were held all over the United States of America.

On Sunday, June 14, 2015, Thousands of people gathered in West Hollywood Park to celebrate Christopher Street West (CSW) festival and parade production of their 45th Annual CSW LA Pride 2015 in West Hollywood, CA.
This year the 45th annual CSW LA Pride 2015 was held from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, 2015 in West Hollywood Park and between Crescent Heights and San Vicente Blvd Streets. The LA Pride consist of Festival where vendors sells products or services and non-profit organizations that provides information and recruit people. As well the festival showcase entertainers on their stages. And on Sunday that is when they do the parade and as well the festival concludes.
Sunday’s parade featured a Diverse group of individuals representing local charity organizations and well known corporates. The weather is warming up, people are starting to spend more time outdoors, and it’s about to be everyone’s favorite time of year. With spring just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about your spring cleaning. And while cleaning out your oven is essential, it’s not that interesting to read about. So we’re going to take a look at another, often neglected area of spring cleaning, cleaning out your wardrobe.
When was the last time you went through your clothes and decided to get rid of all of those clothes you never wear? Can’t remember? You’re not alone. Many of us just let the clothes pile up over time with the thought that hey, we’ll wear this old shirt again someday, right? Wrong. You need to cut the cord and realize that the clothes you don’t like now, you’re never going to like. Spring cleaning is the time to be judicious, and that means taking a hard look at what should stay and what should go. Need some help getting started? We’ve put together a little checklist to guide you along the way. Check it out:
Start with the Basics Need a place to start? Go for the socks, tee shirts, and underwear drawer, as these are the items that tend to go unnoticed for the longest time. And trust us, you don’t want to let them go that long. In most cases, you could use a refresher on your socks and underwear. Instead of just getting the same plastic package from the department store, treat yourself to something a little higher quality this time around. Try something like VK Nagrani designer underwear that you’ll actually enjoy wearing. With higher quality materials, more interesting styles, and a more flattering cut, you won’t miss your old undies, we promise.
Move into Outerwear Once you’ve covered the basics, you should move into your outerwear collection. As the weather is getting warmer and you’re going to be moving your jackets to the back of the closet, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about which items are worth storing, and which are just taking up space. If you live somewhere exceptionally cold, we understand holding onto a few extra layers for the sake of warmth, but for most people, if you have more than four jackets, you’re probably never wearing them. Do yourself a favor and toss the ones that you haven’t taken out in years. They’re just a bulky waste of space, and the people at Goodwill can give them to someone who will appreciate them much more.
Judge Your Footwear Out of everything in your wardrobe, your shoes tend to age the fastest. With the constant contact with rain, pavement, dirt, and grime, your shoes show their age very quickly and very noticeably. While you might have broken in your favorite pair, they probably don’t have the same luster they did when you bought them. It’s ok to say goodbye to your shoes, they were never made to last forever.
When in Doubt, Toss It The golden rule of spring wardrobe cleaning, if there is such a thing, is that when you’re not sure if you should hold onto something or not, you shouldn’t. Donating your old clothes and shoes is a therapeutic exercise and helps set the stage for becoming the person you want to be. In the spirit of spring renewal, starting over with a new wardrobe is refreshing. You’ll be relieved of that guilty feeling when you see a shirt you haven’t worn in ages, and you’ll make room for some new things to freshen up your look.

Per The Ventura County Star reported on September 9, 2013 the following: Two Port Hueneme police officers used a Taser on a Thousand Oaks man before fatally shooting him early Friday, officials said.
According to police, Michael De Luca, 53, was shot and killed about 4:15 a.m. in the 500 block of Surfside Drive.
“Saddened by the news of the passing of my dear friend pro boxer Golden Gloves Champion and photographer Mike Duke De Luca. Duke was a stand-up guy who was a source of inspiration to me showing how to always keep your chin up and keep up the fight for whatever struggle one deals with. RIP Duke! You were a Real Champ!!!” ~Tom Slack.
Also ABC 7 Los Angeles reports that: Port Hueneme police say former bodyguard Michael Deluca claimed he had a gun before officers fatally shot him during a confrontation last week.
I can add that on September 9, 2013 I contacted the Media Relations Officer of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office asking why he was shot and this is the response I received:

I can not believe it that the police will kill this man who was no danger to them or anyone. I worked with Michael Deluca 3 years ago when him and Patrice Ryan covered Shine On 2 Hollywood at Celebrity Center in Hollywood, CA. He enjoyed covering events and editing his footage. About Mike De Luca: Mike “The Duke” De Luca was a Boxer, Director/Videographer/Editor/Actor. Mike De Luca was born in 1959 with the name Michael Maloney. William Maloney was his step-father. Michael grew up in the Bronx, New York and relocated to Long Island when he was 11 years old. He briefly attended Eastern Kentucky University to pursue a future in Law Enforcement. Mike won the New York State Golden Gloves at Madison Square Garden in 1979 as a 19 year old, 197 lb. heavyweight. He fought, and knocked out Harry Keitt (“On The Ropes”) in 42 seconds of the first round. He went on to take a silver metal in The Empire State Games the following year. He could not fight for the gold because of a broken hand. Mike drove out to California in 1981. He eventually became a Pro Boxer (managed by actor, producer Tony Danza). This was the proper opportunity for Mike to obtain his real father’s surname, De Luca. Mike was a professional bodyguard from 1984-1989. He has studied American and Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu since the early ’90s. He is currently a studio Plasterer, and Laborer in Union Locals 755, and 724. On May 21, 2013 Eric Garcetti was elected Mayor of Los Angeles with 53.9% of votes. His term will begin in July 2013. Eric Michael Garcetti (born February 4, 1971) is the mayor-elect of Los Angeles and an outgoing member of the Los Angeles City Council, representing the 13th District.[1] He served as Council President from 2006 to 2012.[2]

In his district, he tackled neighborhoods’ most intractable problems, nearly tripled the number of parks, ensuring the availability of an after-school program in every school in the district, and reducing graffiti by more than 60 percent.
Councilmember Garcetti’s work has been recognized in dozens of awards, including the John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award for Americans under 40 who are changing their communities with a commitment to public service; the Green Cross Millennium Award from former President Mikhail Gorbachev, for environmental leadership; a “Tiger Award” from the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, for his work on business tax reform; the New Democrat of the Week recognition from the Democratic Leadership Council, for his work on safety in commercial office buildings and security officers’ working conditions; and the first Olson Award from Human Rights Watch for his human rights activism.
The Los Angeles Times writes that Garcetti is “smart” and “imaginative” and offers the city “refreshing idealism.” He was featured in LA Weekly’s Best of Los Angeles issue and the Los Angeles Alternative Press readers named him “L.A.’s Favorite Elected Official” of 2003. In my study, I had a new revelation every time I came to a new page in the book, prompting me to develop this incessant need to turn to the next, to seek out the next revelation. I came to realize how little I knew of my faith and it became clear to me that I have not only been keeping Jesus at a distance, but that I have been offending my Lord for the past 64 years of my life.
